Men's and Women's Wedding
Bands
It’s getting closer and closer to the big day!
You have found the perfect engagement ring, now it is time to shop together for a men's wedding band and a
woman's wedding band. If you didn’t by a wedding ring set (engagement ring and wedding band) for your future
wife then it’s time for some shopping. It can be stressful if you don’t go in with a game plan. I have put
together a few helpful tips to look for when you are looking a women’s wedding
bands.
The first thing you need to
look for is a band that will match up with the engagement ring. It would be silly to propose
with a gold engagement ring and then purchase a white gold women’s wedding band. If your fiance will let you
ask her if you can take her engagement ring with you to the jeweler with you. This will help the jeweler
find the perfect match for the wedding band.
Second, take in to
consideration what she would buy for herself if she were shopping for her own wedding
band. Think about what she likes and her personality.
When looking at men's wedding
bands you will also want to think about what you both like. Many couples nowdays will
choose wedding bands that are similar in style. Make sure both of you agree as you will be wearing your
symbols of love and commitment for the rest of your lives.
If the can’t agree on the men's wedding band and
the woman's wedding band, it’s not a rule that your bands have to match. You both may have different styles
and that is perfectly fine. Choose a wedding band that you each like individually. The meaning of the ring is
the same either way you go.
You will want to try on both the woman's wedding
bands and the men's wedding bands. Feel the weight of them and make sure it is comfortable. Many people have
jobs on a computer and if your ring is too heavy it will be very uncomfortable and you may end up taking it
off.
When selecting through men's
bands and women's bands you need to choose if you want a diamond or other stone inside of the wedding bands.
You can make your wedding rings much more personal by adding your own etchings on the outside of the men's
wedding band and the women's wedding band.
